"Craniosacral therapy has been an amazing addition to my holistic veterinary practice. I have worked in veterinary medicine since graduating in 1986 in mixed, small animal and equine only practices. In 1998/99 I took a veterinary acupuncture course and became certified in 2000 with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. In 2003  I added chiropractic and certified with the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. I was introduced to craniosacral work in 2005 and began more intensive study in 2006. In 2006 I switched to only holistic practice.

I rarely need to use actual chiropractic adjustments having now completed 3 levels of Equine Craniosacral classes. Results are visible immediately after treatment and last. (They may not last if a repetitive use is contributing to some of the problems e.g. a heading roping horse.) Acupuncture can produce immediate results but does not always address the same issues as craniosacral. Craniosacral therapy is soothing in most cases and at times changes behavior problems.

My own craniosacral treatments from Lynn and others in my animal craniosacral classes have increased mobility in my neck. (We treat each other before treating the horses to learn how it affects the body and feeling is believing!)  My jaw is relaxed and in the correct position now. Previous session have improved my breathing and corrected a "stuck hip" problem. Total over 3 years I have had four treatments only at the craniosacral classes. I have never had a full session with a therapist yet all the corrections have held with no further work. Craniosacral is a marvelous tool for helping horses and humans."
