“I rarely need to use actual chiropractic adjustments having now completed 3 levels of Equine Craniosacral classes. Results are visible immediately after treatment and last.”

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a light touch Holistic therapy that promotes the release of restrictions in the connective tissues even in the deep layers, giving similar sensations to that of a massage without the kneading of the muscles.

Connective tissue surrounds muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, bones, organs of the body, the brain and spinal cord. When there is an injury, connective tissue is always involved which can cause adhesions, restricting movement and decreasing the range of movement of surrounding structures especially noticeable around skeletal joints. Structure and function are interrelated, so in order to have optimal function, the structures of the body must be ‘true to form’. The body acts like a unit where anything that happens to one part of the body has the potential to impact every other part of the body. The body is a self-correcting mechanism and will heal itself when given the right environment and opportunity.

Craniaosacral Therapy helps the body to release the underlying restrictions causing a healthier range of movement and promoting relaxation. This light touch therapy helps to optimize the function of the Central Nervous System and reduces the effects of stress. It is very gentle and relieving and helps the body feel more calm and relaxed.
